Published on January 24, 2020

As we age, our bones get more and more brittle, right? That does not mean there is nothing you can do about it. You have more control than you think you might have. Here are three things you can do to build better bones and joints that last you a long time.

At SOLUM, we care. We want you to have the right healthcare package that fits your needs and right information to continue to build and repair your health.

1. Take advantage of your medicare benefits.

In this recent article, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid encourages you to get to the doctor and have right testing on a regular basis.

2. Get into the gym and work on those bones with resistance training.

Here is a link to the Mayo Clinic breakdown of why that is important. Good medicare advantage and supplement programs usually come with a Silver gym package of some type that gives you free or reduced gym fees. It is the right thing for your health.

3. Work on that nutrition with right eating and maybe supplements.

The National Institute of Health is concerned for you and so am I. Here at SOLUM Insurance, we are concerned that you take good care and live and long time. Enjoying bone health is a part of that.
